Across the dark sea, Tané has trained to be a dragonrider since she was a child, but is forced to make a choice that could see her life unravel.
Meanwhile, the divided East and West refuse to parley, and forces of chaos are rising from their sleep.
Part of: The Roots of Chaos Series (The Roots of Chaos #1)
Loved this book, I found the main CP to be such a tender exploration of grief, loss and social expectations. One thing is that there’s simply too many good ideas and not enough time – I feel this book would have been much better as a duo/trilogy with all the plot threads fleshed out more
Crazy thing to say about a book thicker than some shoeboxes, but also somehow true. I haven’t had the chance to read the prequel yet, but I wonder if it follows the same vein.
