Lu Yunshu introduced Jin Hanshuang to her younger cousin.

She connected them over a video call.

Once again, the person in question’s CPU was fried.

Lu Mengyang couldn’t believe it.

She didn’t know what to say.

But then, remembering that her parents had already approved, she calmed down.

Her mom and dad had great judgment. If they had given their blessings, then Jin Hanshuang must be a good person.

Lu Mengyang wished her cousin and future sister-in-law well.

Lu Yunshu praised Lu Mengyang for being obedient and said that she’d buy her a gift next time she came home, which made Lu Mengyang very happy.

Then Jin Hanshuang said she’d buy her a present too, which made Lu Mengyang even happier.

Two gifts—her happiness was really simple!

As long as her cousin was happy, she was happy too!

Later, Jin Hanshuang met Le You and Lu Yunshu’s other two friends.

Lu Yunshu brought Jin Hanshuang to dinner.

Her friends were filled with anticipation.

When it came to being approachable, no one could compare to Jin Hanshuang.

She even asked for Lu Yunshu’s advice and prepared gifts for each friend.

Not long after arriving, she quickly won over three new little sisters.

Now, those little sisters were telling Jin Hanshuang all about Lu Yunshu.

About how long she secretly liked Jin Hanshuang but was forced to suppress her feelings.

About how brave she was when she finally decided to pursue Jin Hanshuang.

About how she could come up with any trick to win her over.

About how she would even take jokes about buying Shen Wenxin’s products seriously.

They spilled secrets after secrets.

Jin Hanshuang listened to each word intently.

Under the table, her right hand clasped Lu Yunshu’s.

Meanwhile, Lu Yunshu served food to her wife.

Then glanced at her twice.

Jin Hanshuang was completely absorbed in listening.

Because everything was about Lu Yunshu.

From Le You and the others’ stories, she saw a side of Lu Yunshu she had never seen before. It was like picking up fragments of forgotten memories and putting them together.

When they fit, they revealed the true Lu Yunshu.

It was someone who loved her with all her heart.

Jin Hanshuang’s eyes curved into a smile.

Her heart was filled with pure joy.

“Anything else? I want to hear more~”

Lu Yunshu finally cut in: “Later, let’s eat first.”

She looked at Jin Hanshuang and said softly, “Weren’t you talking about how hungry you were on the way here?”

Yet Jin Hanshuang hadn’t taken a single bite since arriving. She just kept listening to stories about Lu Yunshu.

Jin Hanshuang’s eyes curved again. “Yes, but I completely forgot I was hungry. I love hearing about you too much.”

Lu Yunshu said gently, “Then let’s eat first. Tonight, when we get home, I’ll tell you more.”

Jin Hanshuang said, “Okay~”

Lu Yunshu reached over and tucked her hair behind her ear.

They acted so sweetly as if no one else was around.

Xiao Fanfan said, “Ugh, what a stinky couple.”

Fan Jia repeated, “Ugh, what a stinky couple.”

Le You said, “I miss my girlfriend.”

Fan Jia looked at her. “The two of you are a stinky couple, too.”

Xiao Fanfan said, “Yeah, you’re also a stinky couple.”

Jin Hanshuang was amused by their banter.

As expected, her cute girlfriend was surrounded by cute people.

The social gathering ended. Everyone enjoyed their meal.

It was also fun to meet new friends.

Jin Hanshuang was kind and treated Lu Yunshu well.

The two of them were clearly in love, so Le You and the others were reassured.

After all, a love kept in the shadows is hard enough to bring into the open. The two of them should cherish it and make it last forever!

Lu Yunshu’s friends said their goodbyes.

Lu Yunshu and Jin Hanshuang weren’t ready to go home right away, so they took each other’s hands and strolled to the nearby riverside path.

Jin Hanshuang loved taking pictures. Whether it was the river, the lights, or her own girlfriend, she managed to catch many beautiful scenes.

She uploaded nine new photos and wrote the caption: [A perfect night.]

Meanwhile, Lu Yunshu changed her homescreen wallpaper to the photo Jin Hanshuang had put in the center of her post.

It was a picture of their hands intertwined under a streetlight, their shadows bathed in warm light and pressed together on the ground.

Just after changing her homescreen wallpaper, Lu Yunshu heard her girlfriend say beside her with a chuckle, “Xiao You and the others thought you wanted to marry me~”

During dinner, Le You had teased that Lu Yunshu liked Jin Hanshuang so much she wanted to marry her.

Lu Yunshu lowered her phone and calmly turned to look at her lover. “They’re right.”

She was as straightforward as always. Hearing her firm reply, Jin Hanshuang’s eyes slowly curved into two crescent moons.

Lu Yunshu added, “Anyway, it’s already true.”

Jin Hanshuang blinked. “It is?”

Lu Yunshu smiled and lifted Jin Hanshuang’s hand, her gaze gentle as water. “I’m already Jin Hanshuang’s wife.”

The moment she heard that, Jin Hanshuang’s smile grew even brighter. “That’s right—you are already my wife.”

She rested her forehead against Lu Yunshu’s.

Lu Yunshu kissed her, her eyes filled with warmth.

To this day, her heart still fluttered for Jin Hanshuang.

It fluttered for the freedom to hold her and kiss her whenever she wanted.

How wonderful it was that Jin Hanshuang could love her, too.

March arrived in the blink of an eye.

The weather grew warmer and new buds sprouted.

It was also the seventh month of their relationship.

Whenever Lu Yunshu had free time, they went out on dates.

They were just as sweet and adorable as always.

That night, they returned to the karaoke bar.

This time, it was just the two of them.

Jin Hanshuang wanted to sing lots of love songs for their girlfriend.

After all, she had promised Lu Yunshu before.

Lu Yunshu was tone-deaf and couldn’t sing, so she obediently became a member of the audience instead.

As Jin Hanshuang’s only listener, she dutifully paid her full attention.

Her eyes were full of tenderness and never left Jin Hanshuang.

She also felt a hint of pride.

This was Jin Hanshuang.

Her girlfriend, Jin Hanshuang.

She was singing just for Lu Yunshu, all because Lu Yunshu wanted to hear her voice.

Tonight, Jin Hanshuang was dressed especially beautifully.

She wore rose earrings, a rose bracelet, and two simple asymmetrical rings. Her voluminous curls flowed loosely over her shoulders, soft as seaweed drifting in the ocean.

When she glanced at Lu Yunshu, her smile was bright and charming.

Lu Yunshu’s heart fluttered uncontrollably. Her gaze lingered on Jin Hanshuang’s face, then drifted down to the rings on her hand.

Soon, Jin Hanshuang finished singing and sat back down next to Lu Yunshu.

Lu Yunshu stared at her and said, “My Hanshuang is really beautiful.”

Jin Hanshuang flipped her hair with a smile. “Just beautiful?”

Lu Yunshu curved her lips. “She sings well, too.”

Jin Hanshuang asked, “How well?”

Lu Yunshu said, “Good enough to debut as an idol and shake up the entire music world.”

Jin Hanshuang couldn’t help but laugh. “Wow, am I really that amazing?”

Lu Yunshu nodded, “Yes, very amazing.”

She said it with absolute sincerity.

So Jin Hanshuang replied just as sincerely, “Then I’ve decided not to debut after all. Since I’m so amazing, I should give the other singers a chance to survive.”

Lu Yunshu finally broke into a smile.

“I’ll just sing for you alone.” Jin Hanshuang winked playfully. “So, President Lu, you’d better cherish me.”

President Lu clasped her girlfriend’s hand, her smile reaching her eyes. “It would be my greatest honor.”

Tired of singing, Jin Hanshuang put down the microphone. The two of them sat and chatted for a while, their hands intertwined.

Under the warm lighting, they looked so close and intimate.

Lu Yunshu looked at Jin Hanshuang intently as she talked, her hand absently caressing Jin Hanshuang’s.

Her cool fingertips slowly traced the elegant lines of Jin Hanshuang’s fingers, then slipped between them. She held onto Jin Hanshuang’s hand tightly.

After a while, she gently squeezed Jin Hanshuang’s hand and rubbed her fingers. Then, she started fiddling with Jin Hanshuang’s rings.

Jin Hanshuang could clearly feel her ring turning on her finger, along with Lu Yunshu’s delicate touch. It was light and soft, teasing but tender.

Jin Hanshuang didn’t stop her.

After all, it was just her little puppy being mischievous and wanting to “play” with her hand.

But Lu Yunshu took her “play” very seriously, not stopping for a long time.

Suddenly, Jin Hanshuang caught her hand.

She leaned forward, asking in a seductive voice, “Why do you keep playing with jiejie’s hand?”

Lu Yunshu smiled calmly and replied, “Because I like jiejie’s hand.”

And just like that, Jin Hanshuang let her off the hook.

She even kissed Lu Yunshu’s fingers, then offered her own hand.

“Play with it however you like~”

Lu Yunshu smiled without speaking, growing even bolder.

She slipped Jin Hanshuang’s ring off her finger.

Once again, Shen Wenxin’s secretary told her that Lu Yunshu had come to see her.

Shen Wenxin: “?”

The secretary continued, “President Lu said she has something to discuss with you.”

Shen Wenxin: “…”

Later, she found herself walking to a meeting room.

When Shen Wenxin entered, she saw Lu Yunshu standing by the floor-to-ceiling windows, staring out at the view.

Hearing her footsteps, Lu Yunshu slowly turned around.

Their eyes met.

Lu Yunshu’s expression was composed. “Because it’s something very important, I wanted to tell you in person.”

Shen Wenxin pursed her lips at the word “important.”

Since it was so “important,” she decided not to make any snide remarks. “Go ahead.”

Lu Yunshu walked toward her. “I want to do business with you.”

She stopped in front of Shen Wenxin.

Her expression was calm.

“I want to commission a unique, one-of-a-kind ring for Hanshuang.”

Shen Wenxin raised an eyebrow.

Surprisingly, she didn’t look shocked at all.

Given how much Lu Yunshu adored her stepmother, Shen Wenxin wouldn’t be shocked by anything Lu Yunshu wanted to give her—short of her entire company.

Then, Lu Yunshu placed a simple ring on the table. “This is Hanshuang’s ring. Please make the size according to this one.”

She had even come prepared with a size reference.

Shen Wenxin didn’t rush to agree. Instead, she remarked, “How amazing. You’re considering me for doing business.”

Lu Yunshu recited, “Fertile water should not flow into someone else’s field.”

Shen Wenxin’s brows rose slightly.

Lu Yunshu continued, “Besides, you’re Hanshuang’s daughter. You’ll definitely do better than anyone else.”

Shen Wenxin didn’t deny it.

She glanced at the ring on the table, then back at Lu Yunshu. “Since President Lu has brought business right to my door, I’ll take this order. Pay the deposit first.”

She wasn’t about to be polite with Lu Yunshu.

Lu Yunshu paid without hesitation.

The two of them handled the process smoothly.

Their first time working together so peacefully, and it was all for Jin Hanshuang.

After Lu Yunshu paid, she had one more request for Shen Wenxin. “Keep this a secret from Hanshuang.”

Shen Wenxin waved her hand. “Got it.”

Lu Yunshu nodded.

She turned, preparing to leave.

“Wait.” Shen Wenxin picked up the ring from the table and handed it back to Lu Yunshu. “You’d better put this back, or else my stepmom might notice it’s missing and get suspicious. I don’t need the sample anyway—I know her measurements like the back of my hand.”

Each time the company released a series of new products, Shen Wenxin always had a set made in her stepmom’s size. As her daughter, she had come to learn exactly what size ring Jin Hanshuang could wear.

Jin Hanshuang loved dressing up, so she had naturally built a massive jewelry collection.

Lu Yunshu nodded, then said, “It doesn’t matter if I don’t put it back. Hanshuang picked out this ring for me today.”

She slowly slid the ring onto her finger, then looked at it twice. A feeling of satisfaction ran through her. She and Jin Hanshuang were truly a perfect match for each other. Even their ring sizes were identical.

Lu Yunshu glanced at Shen Wenxin.

She remembered Shen Wenxin’s comment about putting the ring back (on) and asked teasingly, “How did you know that this ring belonged to me?”

“…”

Shen Wenxin folded her arms, her expression blank.

She looked over Lu Yunshu calmly.

Then she turned to her secretary.

“Tell the security to come up and throw her out.”
