Lu Yunshu’s work that afternoon was not particularly busy.

She still had time to think about Jin Hanshuang and leaving soon.

After enduring this private battle for a long time, she finally made it through the workday and prepared to get dinner with Jin Hanshuang.

Lu Yunshu drove to pick up Jin Hanshuang for dinner.

Jin Hanshuang’s heart softened, and she rubbed Lu Yunshu’s smooth cheek with the back of her hand. “I will, my girlfriend.”

Girlfriend.

Lu Yunshu’s eyes slowly lit up.

Whenever she heard this word, her heart filled with joy.

Girlfriend…Jin Hanshuang was really her girlfriend!

They were really together!

Jin Hanshuang saw the clear joy in Lu Yunshu’s bright eyes, radiant and incredibly moving.

She couldn’t help but sigh, then gently touch Lu Yunshu’s face again.

Lu Yunshu drove the car into the parking lot.

But Jin Hanshuang had to sit and watch as Lu Yunshu drove the car into the parking spot farthest from the restaurant.

They had dinner together under the warm orange and pink glow of the sunset. After night fell over City A and they finished their food, they leisurely left the restaurant and began strolling along the mountain path.

Their fingers interlaced, they chatted as they walked toward the parking lot, so sweetly as if they were the only people in the world.

But the mountain path seemed shorter than they remembered.

The parking spot farthest from the restaurant appeared sooner than they expected.

In the blink of an eye, they had already arrived at the neighborhood where Jin Hanshuang lived.

Reluctant to part so soon, Lu Yunshu and Jin Hanshuang parked the car in the neighborhood and wandered to the nearby small town square.

But even the longest road became short on this night.

So short that all it took was a single step to get to the other side.

Time slipped away in the blink of an eye.

Thankfully, Shen Wenxin had been staying at her parents’ house recently and had no plans to come over, so she and Lu Yunshu won’t run into each other just yet.

There happened to be a new set of underwear and pajamas suitable for Lu Yunshu in Jin Hanshuang’s apartment.

Since they were around the same height, Lu Yunshu had no problem wearing Jin Hanshuang’s things.

Jin Hanshuang also went ahead and prepared a new set of toiletries for Lu Yunshu.

“Go take a shower,” she said.

She thrusted the pajamas and a new towel into Lu Yunshu’s hands.

“After taking a shower, have a good rest.”

“Okay,” Lu Yunshu responded obediently.

Then she leaned in and kissed Jin Hanshuang.

“Thank you jiejie for taking me in and not letting me become a stray puppy.”

Jin Hanshuang smiled. She raised her hand and patted Lu Yunshu on the head.

She couldn’t help it. Lu Yunshu was acting again. It was too cute. Ah, she couldn’t stand it.

“Yes, jiejie is especially kind. You must remember jiejie’s kindness.”

She was wearing Jin Hanshuang’s new set of black pajamas. The dark colors contrasted with her pale skin, giving her a cold demeanor. But most importantly, it hung on her frame just right.

“It looks good on you,” Jin Hanshuang said.

She walked up to Lu Yunshu and reached out to brush away the water droplets on her hair.

“Our Yunshu is so beautiful.”

The most beautiful existence in the world. This was her beautiful, charming, and adorable girlfriend.

Jin Hanshuang kissed Lu Yunshu’s face, her voice gentle, “Rest early, have sweet dreams. Call me if you need anything. Goodnight.”

“Goodnight.”

Lu Yunshu couldn’t help but lose herself in Jin Hanshuang’s warm commands. When she came back to her senses, she was already lying alone in bed.

She opened her eyes and looked at the ceiling.

Lu Yunshu calmly replied: [You guys go ahead, I’m at my girlfriend’s place.]

“I’m here to sleep with my girlfriend.”
